Jubail, Saudi Arabia: The Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) Jubail Zone, through its Relief Wing, conducted an emergency blood donation drive at Almana Hospital in response to a critical medical request.

Hospital authorities had urgently sought six units of blood, including the rare O Negative type, for two patients – a Bangladeshi man injured in a road accident and a Saudi woman suffering from severe anemia after childbirth.
Acting swiftly, the KCF Blood Response Team mobilized its volunteers and arranged all six units in time. The donated blood was delivered to the hospital without delay, earning appreciation from the hospital staff and the families of the patients.
Speaking to the media, Naufal Mulki, a representative of KCF Jubail, said, “Our volunteers responded immediately after we received the request. Many of them left work or adjusted their schedules to help. We don’t look at nationality or background when it comes to saving lives. We also made sure that all health and safety guidelines set by the Ministry of Health were followed throughout the process.”
KCF is a well-known community welfare group with a presence in several countries including those in the Gulf, the UK, Malaysia, and the Far East. It carries out a wide range of humanitarian services such as blood donation drives, emergency relief, funeral assistance, and educational support, reaching out to people of all backgrounds.
The KCF Jubail Zone Relief Wing thanked all the donors and volunteers who took part in the initiative, calling their contribution a true example of humanity and service.
