Riyadh: Machili Restaurant, a popular dining destination in Riyadh, hosted a grand Iftar gathering at its Malaz branch, bringing together over 200 individuals for an evening of fellowship, traditional flavors, and community bonding.


The Iftar gathering attracted a significant number of attendees, particularly from the Mangalorean community, who came together to break their fast in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A thoughtfully curated menu was served, with coconut ganji—a simple yet nourishing Mangalorean dish—standing out as one of the highlights of the evening. Guests were also treated to laban, Rooh Afza juice, pudding, ghee rice, mutton curries, and a variety of other traditional delicacies, adding to the festive spirit of Ramadan.
The event was meticulously organized under the leadership of Siddeeq, the head of Machili Restaurant, ensuring a smooth and hospitable experience for all attendees.


Since its establishment in October 2023, Machili Restaurant has built a strong reputation for serving authentic Mangalorean cuisine. The restaurant offers a variety of daily specialties, including neerdose, kalthappa, naipatthr, parotta, and fresh seafood, which have become customer favorites. Among its standout offerings is the Kulki juice, a refreshing drink made with fruits, unripe mango, and green chilies, which continues to be a highly sought-after specialty.
